How each order gets its carrier

Three ways, and you decide which one applies.

Pin it yourself

Choose the carrier on an individual order and we book exactly that. Nothing overrides your pick.

Pick a strategy

Cheapest, fastest, most reliable, or our weighted score — you choose the rule, and it applies to every eligible order.

Write rules

Prefer or exclude a carrier by value, weight or destination, keep same-city drops local, hold risky orders for review, or tag orders as they arrive.

Carriers

Connect them one at a time from inside the app. A carrier you haven’t switched on is simply never booked.

How an order is shipped

  1. A paid order arrives from your store.
  2. The address is checked, and live rates are requested from every carrier that can serve it.
  3. A carrier is booked, a label is generated, and tracking is written back to the order.
  4. Failures become NDR cases you can act on from the dashboard.

Opening the app

From your Shopify admin, open Apps and choose Pakka Parcel. The admin passes the store details this page needs, so start there rather than from a saved link.
